Consistency Beats Intensity

The athletes who improve over years do not train harder. They train more often. The lever is consistency.

Intensity is a single session. Consistency is a calendar. Over twelve months, the calendar wins every time.

The eighty percent rule

Most pro athletes train at around eighty percent of capacity most days. The maximal efforts are rare and protected. Recovery is what makes them possible.

Show up tomorrow

Every session is one input in a long sequence. The session that ends with you broken is the one you regret next week. The session that ends with you ready to train again is the one that compounds.

The athlete who shows up tomorrow wins.
